Steamed 15 mins, then another 5 after it didn't bend enough.

  • 48" x 4" Black ABS pipe, mounted to an oak scrap for strength and mounting in a workmate.  1/4" dowels at 6" centers.  Lower End cap has an inlet for the steam hose.<br />

  • About ready to start.  a 36"L x 2.75"W x ~1/8" thick strip of cherry on top is the first victim
  • In Process about 5 minutes.  Temp probe reading 212°F, condensate dripping out the left, but not cleanly.  Took over 30 mins to get steam going, then another few to get the tube up to  212.  Need to pre heat the water next time.
